ECU wiring confirmation.

Installation was completed last night with many thanks to this board, especially to Raffe's wires color code on the ECU and to Randomwalk101's help.
Set timing back to 16BTDC and JR controller five clicks from minimum. I followed the instruction as in the Helm which need to rev the engine to 3000RPM and hold it until the radiator fans come on at least once. Anyone know why you have to run the engine at 3000RPM? Is it just to warm up the car faster? If so, I could have the car just idle till it warm up. Because it is loud as hell at night. I woke up my roommate since my garage is attached to the house and it is 3:00am.
You guys have heard many praise from people on this board about the BTC, I also echo this sentiment. The unit is well worth the money in my opinion because it give back the throttle response I used to have before SC. The car feel much better off the line and so far the cold weather in Chicago is helping. No ping at 8000RPM. However, I did hear belt slippage and readjusted the tension of the supercharger belt. All is good now.
I placed the unit under the passenger carpet. I couldn't fit the JR BTC in the kick panel on top of the ECU. How did you manage to fit the unit in there?

Ben, I had the unit under the carpet as well. I used some double sided tapes (not included in the package of course) and tape it in place. It is way on the very edge of the carpet...can't really touch it unless the passenger actually reach all the way up there..so it's happy
I also had my Vtec light and a/f gauge tapped in at the same time when installing the BTC..it's beautiful

BTW, how many click does it take your engine to ping at all? My goes all the way to zero w/ 16 btdc and no ping. I'm setting it at 16 BTDC and two click for now.
